"Primos" actually means "the upper or leading part in a musical duet".
I thought it meant "original or first".
Oops.
Oh well. I'm pretending that it means what I thought it meant. :)
My goal for this blog? To keep in touch with my dear friends on a (hopefully) semi-regular basis. I don't want a trillion followers or sponsors or giveaways or a bunch of stuff like that. Not that these things are bad ... they just aren't me.
I want to be counter-cultural on this blog. I want to glorify Jesus. I want to share some of the random thoughts in my fertile brain, that I sometimes feel silly about expressing. I don't want to be obsessive or addicted or enslaved in any way. :)
I also want to share about the things that I love: my Jesus, my family & friends, singing, sports of many kinds, medical stuff, outdoorsy stuff like fishing and backpacking and hiking, baking -- and my nerdy side: crossword puzzles, writing, reading the dictionary for fun, etc.
Above all, I hope this blog encourages you to always, ever HOPE!! I have been so convicted by the concept of godly hope over the last few years. My next post will be some of the verses I have found that make my heart sing with hope!
